Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every print sold through this site. Placing an order accepts them in full.

Order requirements

Prints are made to order, to the image, size and material you choose. Check all three before you place the order. Once it is placed, changes are difficult to accommodate, because the piece is already being made to your specification.

Colour on screen

Every image is edited to be true to the scene. What you see on a phone or a monitor will still differ slightly from the print: screen calibration varies between devices and settings, and no amount of care at this end changes that. A difference between your screen and the finished print is not grounds for a return or a cancellation. If something is wrong with a print when it arrives, write to me and we will work it out.

Sales tax

Sales tax is the customer’s responsibility. It is calculated from the delivery address you give, and it appears on the final invoice.

Delivery

Allow two to four weeks for a print to be made before it ships. Some pieces take longer, depending on the format and the size.

If the artwork arrives damaged in transit, three things settle a claim. Tell me within 30 days of delivery. Keep the shipping receipt. And send photographs clear enough to show the extent of the damage.

Cancellations

Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled. The print is custom-made to your specification and work on it begins. Review the order before you confirm it.

Returns

Limited-edition prints cannot be returned or exchanged once an order has been placed, for the same reason: each one is made for the order it belongs to. Check every detail carefully before purchasing.

Acceptance of artwork

Inspect the artwork when it arrives. If it is damaged, or does not match the order you placed, written notice must reach me within 14 days of receipt. After that, no return or exchange is available.

Every photograph, video and piece of text on this site is the property of Jonathan Gardner and is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, and any other unauthorised use are prohibited without express written permission. For permissions or licensing, write to the studio.

These terms may change. The version on this page is the current one, and it is the one that applies to an order placed today.
